Clemson University Extension offers gardening courses

The Clemson University Extension Service in Beaufort County is accepting applications for its 2013 master gardener classes. The cost is $300 and scholarships are available.

The class begins Jan. 8 and will be from 1 to 4 p.m. each Tuesday at the extension office.

Classes also will be taught on Hilton Head Island from 1 to 4 p.m. on Wednesdays starting March 8 in the community room of the Hilton Head Public Service District.
