A blood drive in Bluffton next week will include an extra incentive for donors -- the chance to win $1,000 to spend on jewelry.

The drive, from 11 a.m. to 4 p.m. Dec. 14 at the Kittie's Crossing shopping center, will feature a drawing for a $1,000 gift card from Golis Family Jewelers.

According to a news release from the American Red Cross, Chris and Eva Golis are supporting the blood drive because their son, a cancer survivor, received blood during his treatment.
