Hilton Head Island Elementary School for the Creative Arts third-grader Esteban Quintero shovels earth around the roots of a loblolly bay tree on Friday during the Hilton Head Island Council of Garden Clubs Arbor Day Celebration at the Xeriscape Garden at Town Hall. Esteban won first place in the "Trees Around the World" contest with a project on redwood trees. He, and six other third-graders, gave presentations on their projects during the program.
