Deep Well aids woman with home repairs

info@islandpacket.comDecember 5, 2012

A couple came into the Deep Well office and reported that 51-year-old Jill was in poor health and had to be hooked to an oxygen tank.

And her mobile home was falling apart.

Livable Housing, a service provided by Deep Well, assessed the situation and dispatched volunteers to caulk a leaky window and bathtub and perform extensive roof repairs.

Deep Well provides a broad range of social services for poor working families, the disabled, the sick and the elderly.
