Tarboro resident added to Palmetto Electric board

Dr. Earl Bostick Sr. of Tarboro has been appointed to Palmetto Electric's board of directors.

Bostick will fill the Jasper County position left vacant by the recent resignation of Deborah Malphrus, according to a news release.

A native of Jasper County, Bostick is a U.S. Army veteran and served in the Vietnam War. He graduated from Savannah State College and the Medical College of Georgia School of Dentistry.

Palmetto Electric is a cooperative that provides electricity to parts of Beaufort, Jasper and Hampton counties.
