Greenery wins environmental-improvement award

The Greenery has received the Grand Award in the 2012 Environmental Improvement Awards Program sponsored by the Professional Landcare Network.

The landscaping company, based in Beaufort County, won the program's highest national award for its commitment to environmental stewardship at Palmetto Bluff, according to a news release.

"This award is a great example of our employees' strong work ethic and pride they take in their jobs, as well as the great partnership with all of the people we work with at Palmetto Bluff," Greenery CEO Lee Edwards said.
