A public hearing is planned for 5 p.m. Wednesday to discuss the Town of Hilton Head Island's proposed signalized intersection project at William Hilton Parkway, Leamington and the Fresh Market Shoppes.

Discussion will include the future road alignment, median closures and openings, and a new crosswalk on the parkway. The goal of the project is more efficient traffic flow, improved safety and aiding emergency response, according to a news release.
