The Carolina Cowboys, a group of black horse-riding enthusiasts who also mentor children, sponsored a "Return to Live Oaks Park" event in Port Royal on Saturday afternoon. Members provided horse rides, hayrides and food and drink. In addition, the town of Port Royal had a police car on display. Here, Kenard Terry of Yemassee takes Asia Mayfield, 7, and Tayani Brown, 8, on a horse ride. "It was goodtastic," said Tayani afterward.
