The following reports were released Friday by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office:

HILTON HEAD ISLAND

CAR BREAK-IN

  • Hobonny Place, Indigo Run: GPS, gift card, canvas bag worth $280 stolen from unlocked vehicle.

    • CAR THEFT

  • Sheldon Lane, Indigo Run: Unlocked 2006 Honda Pilot worth $12,000 stolen from driveway.

    • HIT-AND-RUN

  • Pope Avenue: Truck reportedly hit rear bumper of vehicle in parking lot. Damage: $500.

    • THEFT

  • Shelter Cove Lane, Belk Department Store: Jewelry, handbags, other items worth $517 stolen, later recovered
