Jeff Byington has joined the International Spa Institute at 6A Bruin Road near Old Town Bluffton as the director of sales and marketing.

Byington joined the Army after high school and worked his way from enlisted soldier to the U.S. Military Academy at West Point, N.Y. After graduating with a Bachelor of Science degree in 1988, he served as an Army officer for five years.

His focus at ISI will be "to spread the word about the higher-than-average employment outlook for the future of massage therapists and estheticians," according to a news release.
