Volunteers Bill Thompson, left, and Willamay Williams, right, work Wednesday on stripping two of the 80 turkeys prepared for today's feast at the Parish Church of St. Helena, while Alice Richardson, a sexton at the church, watches. The church will host its 33rd annual Community Thanksgiving Dinner and Community Worship Service at 507 Newcastle St. in Beaufort. The worship service will begin at 11 a.m. Dinner will be served from noon to 2 p.m. in the parish hall. All are welcome.
