Alzheimer's agency to demonstrate Project Lifesaver

Alzheimer's Family Services of Greater Beaufort is hosting a free public demonstration of Project Lifesaver, in cooperation with the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Project Lifesaver is used to quickly locate and rescue people who have wandered away. People who participate in the program wear a transmitter that emits a tracking signal.

The demonstration will be at 10 a.m. Nov. 28 in the Jasmine Room in the Quality Inn at 2001 Boundary St. in Beaufort. Light refreshments will be provided.
