Congregation Beth Yam Men's Club grateful for golf tourney participation

Thank you from the Congregation Beth Yam Men's Club to the Hilton Head Island and Bluffton communities for their participation in the sixth annual Charity Golf Tournament held Oct. 8.

The event was hosted by Hampton Hall Golf Club and raised funds for local charities. The Men's Club thanks Congregation Beth Yam for all its support.

The tournament continued its year-after-year increase in participation with more than 100 participants and 21 hole sponsors. Although it was cloudy, the rain held off, and participants enjoyed fun, laughs, friendship and a little competition.

The tournament's running total over its first six years is now more than $27,000 raised for local charities. This year's beneficiaries include The Deep Well Project, Volunteers in Medicine, Bluffton Self Help among other charities in our community.

The Congregation Beth Yam Men's Club thanks everyone who supported the event and urges more to join in next year.
