The volunteers, staff and board of directors of Bluffton Self Help are very grateful to the Sisters of Charity Foundation of South Carolina for its 2012 Caritas grant in support of our assistance program for our Bluffton neighbors who are facing a financial crisis.

Through this program, Bluffton Self Help has assisted almost 3,000 individuals, affecting almost 2,000 households. Many of these crises are related to unexpected medical bills.

The Sisters of Charity Foundation helps many nonprofits throughout the state. We thank the foundation for including Bluffton Self Help this year, so that we can continue helping our neighbors who are in need.
