A 34-year-old Burton man faces multiple charges after Beaufort County sheriff's deputies allegedly made undercover purchases of illegal drugs from him.
Andre Desmond Skanes is accused of selling drugs out of his home on Glaze Drive, according to a news release. The Drug Investigations Section of the Sheriff's Office found about 17 grams of marijuana, three grams of crack cocaine, two grams of cocaine, three handguns, drug paraphernalia and $822 in cash in his home Friday, the release said.
Skanes faces separate charges of possession with intent to distribute marijuana, cocaine and crack cocaine. He was in the Beaufort County Detention Center on Friday night, according to the jail log.
