Bush's presidency didn't help Republicans

info@islandpacket.comNovember 15, 2012

I note that in a story on Page 4A of the Nov. 12 newspaper, someone seems to think that two consecutive terms for Bush-Cheney-Rove were a plus for the Republican Party.

I have a different take on that. It seems to me that after these three were finished, the political landscape was so polluted that poor John McCain and Sarah Palin could not have defeated Bonnie and Clyde.

I suggest reading "Decision Points" by former President George W. Bush and "The Price of Loyalty"by Ron Suskind. Read "Decision Points" first.
