The Beaufort Police Department seeks assistance in finding a 66-year-old man reported missing Monday.

Walter Pinckney of Morris Street did not return home Sunday evening, and his sister, with whom he lives, contacted police, according to a news release.

Pinckney is black, 5-foot-8, 150 pounds, with gray and black hair. He was last seen wearing a brown jacket, brown pants, black shoes and a black knit hat. A niece saw him walking alone along Boundary Street near the Beaufort County Courthouse on Sunday afternoon.
