Video surveillance suggests a 27-year-old man shot himself in the leg early Saturday during a gunfight at a Hilton Head Island club, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Shell casings at the scene show more people were involved in the shoot-out in the Simmons Fishing Camp parking lot, but so far, no other suspects have been identified, a news release said.

Deputies arrived at the nightspot just before 3 a.m. and saw several fleeing vehicles and patrons. Witnesses said a large fight had broken out inside the bar and spilled into the parking lot, where shots were fired, striking two vehicles.
