The condition of a 53-year-old Beaufort man shot at about midnight Friday in an apparent armed robbery was unknown Saturday night.
A report released by the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office on Saturday said a man in a black and white mask shot the victim -- who was at his Broad River Boulevard home -- in the chest.
The report calls the incident an attempted murder and armed robbery . No other details were available from the Sheriff's Office on Saturday night.
