Giuseppi's Pizza and Pasta Bluffton marks its 10th anniversary with the completion of its newly remodeled restaurant, featuring an expanded patio, game room and a new menu.

Giuseppi's came to Hilton Head Island in the early 1980s, and the Kitties Crossing location in greater Bluffton followed in November 2002, according to a news release. The latter location is billed in a news release as the longest-running, locally owned pizzeria in Bluffton.

"Growing up in an Italian family and in Pittsburgh, family time was very important," managing partner Lori Taylor said in the release. "Gathering around the table everyday was expected. Traditions have slipped. That's why I believe in treating customers like family. Bluffton is a community known for helping one another. Giving back to the local community as a business owner is very important to us, as well."

A ribbon-cutting for the renovated Bluffton location, conducted by the Greater Bluffton Chamber of Commerce, is set for 5:30 p.m. Thursday. A 10-year anniversary celebration will take place all day Saturday.
