Advance Auto Parts Inc., a retailer of after-market automobile parts, batteries, accessories and maintenance items, has opened its first store on Hilton Head Island at 120 Mathews Drive, next to Palmetto Electric.
General manager Kim Cambron and 10 other employees work at the new location. A 20-year veteran of the automotive and retail sales industries, Cambron has been with Advance Auto Parts for almost seven years, according to a news release.
To mark the opening, Advance Auto has donated $1,000 to the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation.
The store is open from 7:30 a.m. to 9 p.m. Monday through Saturday and from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. on Sunday.
