BFG, a marketing and communications agency based on Hilton Head Island, is hosting its fourth annual Geekend this week in Savannah.

The event from Friday to Saturday at the SCAD Museum of Art brings together "passionate innovators -- geeks, designers, artists and social media mavericks -- in the tech and creative communities ... to spark new ideas," according to a news release.

An opening reception will be from 4 to 6 p.m. Thursday at Moon River Brewing Co. in Savannah.
