Published: November 5, 2012

Two China Wok employees were attacked Saturday night by two men -- one wielding a shotgun -- during an armed robbery of the Beaufort restaurant, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

At about 10 p.m., two men wearing dark clothing and masks entered and jumped the counter, according to a news release.

Two restaurant employees were struck in the head with the butt of the shotgun before the robbers took cash from the men's pockets.

The robbers fled in a black truck parked beside the building, the release said. EMS treated the employees for minor head injuries.
