The South Carolina Festival & Event Association will host a district meeting of the Lowcountry tourism industry Nov. 13.

The meeting is free and open to all Lowcountry event planners, festival producers, tourism promoters, and parks and recreation professionals.

The meeting, also organized by the Lowcountry & Resort Islands Tourism Commission, will be from 9:30 to 11:30 a.m. at the Lowcountry Council of Governments office at 634 Campground Road in Yemassee.
