To all you dog lovers (I am one) who criticized Romney for securing his dog in a carrier on top of the family car, I have some questions for you: Do you approve of dogs loose in a car with their heads stuck out of the car window?

How about sitting on the owner's lap while the owner is driving? And last but not least, how about dogs loose in an open truck bed, while the owner is traveling down the highway? I hear no criticism of that. Is that not dangerous as well? I guess some people have selective judgment.
