Obama's record shows no call for second term

info@islandpacket.comOctober 30, 2012

The Obama administration record is marked by broken promises and bad policies. They include:

  • Instead of cutting the deficit in half, it has increased by $6 trillion.

  • Transparency.

  • Blaming America, apologizing for our history, bowing to leaders.

  • Immigration reform.

  • Close the prison at Guantanamo Bay.

  • Uniting our country and changing the tone of politics.

  • Eliminating unnecessary programs.

  • Eliminating lobbyists' access.

  • Eliminating earmarks.

  • Pushing class warfare.

  • Not stopping Iran from developing a nuclear bomb.

  • Unemployment not at 5.6 percent.

  • Lost billions investing in bankrupt green companies.

  • Median household income falling 8 percent.

  • Stopping oil exploration in the Gulf of Mexico and the Arctic National Wildlife Refuge.

  • Vetoing the Keystone Pipeline.

  • Closing 200 coal-fired plants.

  • Gas prices doubling; food prices escalating.

  • Obamacare eliminating jobs and Medicare Advantage.

  • 23 million people unemployed.

  • Businesses and individuals not getting credit for their success.

  • Reducing welfare work requirements.

  • Reducing the increase in Medicare spending by $716 billion.

  • Forming commission to suggest ways to reduce deficit, but ignored recommendations.

  • Refusing to secure the border.

  • Can we afford four more years?
