Lamie specializes in the study of economic community development. He also is director of the S.C. Market Makers and leads a multi-state effort to support locally owned businesses.

The Nov. 12 event will be at Myrtles in Bluffton; the Nov. 13 event will be at the Coastal Discovery Museum on Hilton Head Island.
