Romney, Ryan plans put America on wrong path

Published: October 29, 2012

President Barack Obama refers to Mitt Romney's constant flip-flopping on major issues as the medical condition known as Romnesia.

Since Romney has been flip-flopping for the past six years, Romnesia is a pre-existing condition and covered under Obamacare.

As a result of Romney's 47 percent debacle, all attendees at his closed- door fundraising sessions are now sworn to secrecy and their electronic devices are confiscated at the door. One can only imagine what is said and promised behind those doors.

Michael Myers gave us "Fat Bastard" on the big screen. In Paul Ryan the Republican Party has given us an individual who is incapable of telling the truth.

Unfortunately, in this state, a large number of voters don't care whether their children and grandchildren will have access to our traditional Social Security and Medicare programs or to birth control or to inclusion on their parents' health insurance policy or to health care even though they may have a pre-existing condition.

Nor do they care whether women get equal pay for the same work as men or even the right to control their own bodies. They don't even care that veterans benefits were cut under the Ryan budget that Romney supports. Bottom line, their attitude fits right in with the Republican Party's philosophy of "as long as I got mine, I couldn't care less about anyone else."
