We have got to get all the answers to this Benghazi mess. There are at least two separate and distinct questions. Our leaders owe us an explanation.

Who was responsible for the poor security at our consulate in Benghazi? Secretary of State Hillary Clinton has stepped forward and said the buck stops with her. Good for Clinton. Now if she would only elaborate on what prompted her to make such a dreadful decision.

Who is behind the unbelievable, irrational cover-up that the attack was the result of a stupid Internet video trailer of a movie? The movie was never released. How many Libyans do you think have Internet service?

The invasion of our consulate took place on the anniversary of 9/11. A spontaneous mob so riled up by the video, loads up and protests at the consulate carrying their mortars and RPGs? The head of State Department security has testified she had real time reporting from the site over the several hours of the attack. She confirms there was no protest. There is video tape to prove it.

Leaders know or should know that there were attacks on the consulate in April and June. Terrorists attempted to assassinate the British ambassador. The Red Cross and the British evacuated their staffs from Benghazi. It's the anniversary of 9/11. Can you imagined a leader not asking the question: Are you sure this coordinated, military-style attack was just a mob action and not terrorism?
