It's almost time to vote for three candidates for Town Council on Hilton Head Island. I think you should determine whether the person you are voting for has the same vision for Hilton Head as you do.
The last regime bought property to keep it from being developed. The current one trades property to get it developed, such as along Broad Creek in the Shelter Cove area. It is even allowing a gas station near residential property. Shelter Cove Lane will be moved toward William Hilton Parkway, and it will have on-street parking. That's a step backward. I know how well that works at Coligny. The town is trading the piece of property that is the park for the narrow piece that is used for parking now.
