Bishop England powers past Ridgeland-Hardeeville, 41-8

Ridgeland-Hardeeville fell 41-8 on the road against defending Class 2-A champion Bishop England, but held on the the fourth spot in Region 6 and a playoff berth.

Quarterback Derrell Myers, returning after sitting out a week with a concussion, scored the only touchdown for the Jaguars (4-6, 3-4), a 2-yard run in the fourth quarter.

The Battling Bishops (9-1, 7-0) clinched the region championship behind quarterback Kevin Herbst, who ran for two touchdowns and threw for a third. Bishop England was also aided by Harrison Boals' 31-yard return of a blocked punt for a touchdown.
