Vote your conscience, but do get out and vote

info@islandpacket.comOctober 26, 2012

Our country leads because of our Constitution and because of those who drafted its words and embodied its intent.

As a valued citizen, I intend to preserve that status with my vote Nov. 6. I remember clearly four years ago. Do you? I remember and have not forgotten past political and journalistic rhetoric and media manipulation before the 2008 presidential election, as well as the promises and policies fulfilled and unfulfilled, enacted and buried, as a direct result of that same election.

Get out and vote your conscience, and let the chips fall where they may.
