Walter Travoy Tuker

One of three men suspected of armed robbery and murder was extradited Tuesday from North Carolina to the Beaufort County jail.

Walter Travoy Tucker, 28, was found hiding under a sink in Asheville, N.C., two weeks after the fatal shooting of 22-year-old Lady's Island resident Quantize Greer on Sept. 6 at Taylor's Mobile Home Park in Burton.

Tucker remained in the Buncombe County jail from Sept. 22 until Tuesday and is charged with murder, armed robbery and kidnapping in Beaufort County.

In 2008, Tucker pleaded guilty to attempted murder in Miami and was sentenced to four years in prison, according to Miami-Dade County court records.
