Landell Norris of Sumpter Utilities Inc. -- a contractor for Palmetto Electric -- works Monday in a bucket lift to dismantle the power lines running along William Hilton Parkway, from near the Palmetto Dunes entrance to the Chaplin Community Park. The work to remove the overhead power lines and poles is part of Palmetto Electric's ongoing project to put all of Hilton Head Island's power lines underground.
