Julia Sadler Mitchell and Robert Kenneth Renken III of Charleston, South Carolina, were married on October 20, 2012, at St. Peter’s Catholic Church in Beaufort, South Carolina.

The Reverand Father Paul MacNeil performed the wedding ceremony. A reception followed at the home of the bride’s parents.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. David Carl Mitchell of Beaufort, South Carolina. She is the granddaughter of Mrs. William Cecil Mitchell and the late Mr. Mitchell of Beaufort and the late Mr. and Mrs. Rufus Earle Sadler of Clinton, South Carolina.

She graduated from the University of South Carolina with a Bachelor of Arts in Public Relations and is the Director of Client Services with the Morey Group in Charleston.

Mr. Renken is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Robert Kenneth Renken Jr. of Charleston. He is the grandson of Mrs. Robert Kenneth Renken Sr. and the late Mr. Renken and Mr. and Mrs Donovan DeWitt Kinnett, all of Charleston. He graduated from Clemson University with a Bachelor of Science in Forest Resource Management and is employed with Barrier Island Marine.

Evelyn Murdaugh Mitchell was her sister’s maid of honor.

Flower girls were Margaret Evelyn Adams, Amelia Catherine Mitchell, Allison Ann Rodelsperger, Emma Elizabeth Rodelsperger, and Charlotte Ellis Speights. Robert Kenneth Renken, Jr. was his son’s best man. The ringbearer was Michael Preston Ebert III.

The rehearsal dinner was given by the groom’s parents the evening before the wedding.

The couple will make their home in Charleston.
