Battery Creek 71, Burke 27

The Dolphins hammered their Charleston hosts Friday night, locking up third place in Region 6-AA.

"All our running backs had big games," Battery Creek coach Jim Shuman said, giving credit to Yuneek Crittendon, Deandre Johnson, DJ Franklin and Darrin Peeks.

"All of our young guys got to play tonight, which is nice," Shuman added.

Battery Creek improves to 4-5 overall and 4-2 in the region, and they wrap up their regular season next Friday. The Dolphins host an Academic Magnet squad that is fighting for a playoff spot.
