Which of many Romneys would show up for work?

info@islandpacket.comOctober 19, 2012

I like the new Mitt Romney better than the previous Romney.

The new Romney appears to be a moderate Republican, and I have voted for some moderate Republicans. The previous Romney was "severely conservative" and ran on cutting tax rates 20 percent across the board, which would bring his tax rate from 35 percent to 28 percent. This would be at least twice as much as he has paid in the past 10 years.

The previous Romney was okay with the 2012 Republican platform, which advocates banning abortion, with no rape exception. The new Romney is apparently against both of these positions.

The Romney before the previous Romney (the pre-previous Romney?) was very similar to the new Romney. He said, "I concur that climate change is beginning to (have an) effect on our natural resources and now is the time to take action," the Boston Herald reported in 2003. Actually, the new Romney has yet to tell us his stand on climate change.

The pre-previous Romney has supported the assault rifle ban and the Brady gun control law. Later, he joined the National Rifle Association and asked for its endorsement. On Jan. 10, 2007, he said he had a gun of his own, only to say four days later he did not own a gun.

In April 2006, he signed the bill requiring Massachusetts residents to purchase health insurance. He now criticizes his own biggest achievement.

If Romney should become president, which Romney would show up in the White House?
