The University of South Carolina Beaufort women's golf team finished in the middle of the pack Tuesday at the Charleston Southern Wendy's Invitational in Mount Pleasant.

USCB -- the only NAIA school in a field of primarily NCAA Division I foes -- shot a team score of 315 in the final round to match its mark from Monday's second round. The Sand Sharks finished at 932, ahead of five NCAA Division I schools. Richmond won the team title at 893, 12 shots clear of Wofford and 13 ahead of Charleston Southern.

Senior Kaitlin O'Sullivan (76-81-75--232) and junior Kendra Collins (78-79-75--232) posted solid rounds of 75 to lead the Sand Sharks on Tuesday and finished in a tie for 21st, followed closely by senior Kelli Nakano (73-78-82--233) in a tie for 26th. Senior Phyllis Langley (75-84-85--244) and sophomore Tori DeGroodt (84-77-83--244) tied for 53rd to round out the lineup.

Richmond's Tracy Martin won the individual title at 1-under-par 215, two shots better than Armstrong Atlantic's Jenna Birch.

The Sand Sharks wrap up their fall season Oct. 29-30 at the Lady Flames Fall Shootout in Cleveland, Tenn.
