Samantha Rene Fesler and Sanders Rhea MacDonald, both of Charlotte, N.C., were married at 3 p.m. July 1, 2012, at Seacoast Church, Mount Pleasant.

The bride is the daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Gregg Fesler of Charleston. The groom is the son of Mr. and Mrs. Richard MacDonald of Hilton Head Island.

The bride graduated from Palmetto Christian Academy in 2009. She received a B.A. degree in Management from Clemson University in August 2012. She is employed by Elevation Church in Charlotte.

The groom graduated from Hilton Head Christian Academy in 2007. He received a B.A. in Marketing from Clemson University in May 2011. He is works in Sales with The Carolina Panthers in Charlotte.

The groom is the grandson of Peggy Sanders and the late James C. Sanders of Beaufort.

The Rev. Chris Russo officiated. The bride was given in marriage by her father. Sister of the bride, Abbey Fesler of Charleston, was maid of honor. Bridesmaids were Sarah Stainaker and Alex Munson both of Greer; Chelsea Lockridge of Simpsonville; Hagan McCall of Powdersville; Emily Dennehy of Charlotte; Kara Tallman of Lynchburg, Va.; and Dylan Caulder of Mount Pleasant.

The groom’s father was best man. Groomsmen were Corey MacDonald and Taylor MacDonald, brothers of the groom, both of Hilton Head; Josh Campbell of Weaverville, N.C.; Jason Forrest, Yorktown, Va.; and Jamie Williams and Mike Hawkins, both of Greenville, S.C.

Following a honeymoon to Nassua, Bahamas, the couple lives in Charlotte.
