Battery Creek ended a two-game losing streak Friday night in North Charleston, improving to 3-2 in Region 6-AA.

"We played very well, offensively and defensively," Battery Creek coach Jim Shuman said. "We scored on offense and we scored on defense. The guys played very well as a team tonight."

"Fundamentally, we played the best we have in weeks," he added.

The Dolphins (3-5) travel back to Charleston on Friday, playing Burke in another Region 6 game.
