A Beaufort man was arrested Thursday after deputies found a stolen gun, cocaine, prescription drugs and marijuana in his car, according to the Beaufort County Sheriff's Office.

Jasper Denzel Roberts, 20, was pulled over near County Shed Road and Moody Sons Lane in Burton "based on suspicious behavior," a Sheriff's Office report said.

Dogs were brought in for a search after a deputy smelled marijuana. The search revealed less than an ounce of marijuana, 14 tablets of Xanax, four grams of cocaine and a stolen .40 caliber Glock, the report said.

Roberts is in the Beaufort County Detention Center with bond set at $30,620.
