Don't be fooled by Obama again

info@islandpacket.comOctober 11, 2012

I find myself agreeing with President Barack Obama, who has compared himself with Abraham Lincoln.

Lincoln, like Obama, was for the redistribution of wealth and certainly was very successful, particularly in the South.

Also Lincoln is reported to have said: "You can fool some of the people all of the time, and all of the people some of the time, but you cannot fool all of the people all of the time."

With all due respect, I would like to add an appendix to this quote to reflect Obama's views:

"You can fool enough of the people all of the time to get re-elected."

Let's hope that is not true. Please make a change; vote to save the Union on Nov. 6.
