The Lowcountry Young Democrats and the Lowcountry American Dream Council will provide free transportation for registered voters of any party to cast absentee ballots and to vote on Election Day, according to a news release.

The rides will be provided to the Beaufort County elections offices in Bluffton and Beaufort to cast early absentee ballots until Nov. 5. Voters will also be given free, prearranged rides to vote at any Beaufort County precinct Nov. 6.

Registered voters who need rides or those who want to volunteer as drivers can call Marolyn Parson at 843-757-0237.
