Hope Haven grateful for Bargain Box support

info@islandpacket.comOctober 7, 2012

Hope Haven of the Lowcountry would like to thank The Bargain Box thrift store on Hilton Head Island for its consistent support of our mission.

Because of The Bargain Box's financial support, Hope Haven has helped 231 direct victims of child abuse and sexual violence in the first six months of 2012. In addition, 340 loved ones and caregivers of the victims also received help and support.

Year after year, The Bargain Box comes through with providing much-needed funds so that abused children and adult victims of sexual violence can find healing and a second chance through services provided by Hope Haven.

Our staff and board would like to extend our deepest appreciation to all the volunteers, board and staff at The Bargain Box.

In the words of one of our young clients who found hope to live again after enduring years of sexual abuse, "Everyone who is a part of the Hope Haven family are angels."

Thank you, Bargain Box, for being a part of the Hope Haven family.
