Bluffton 5, Colleton County 1: The Bobcats improved to 4-1 in Region 8-AAAA, winning every matchup except No. 1 singles. Bluffton (7-4 overall) hosts Summerville at 4 p.m. Tuesday.

VOLLEYBALL

Hilton Head High 3, Orangeburg-Wilkinson 0: The Seahawks remained undefeated in Region 8-AAA, sweeping to victory by scores of 25-11, 25-12 and 25-15.

Hilton Head High (16-6 overall, 7-0 region) was led by Renee Homad's 33 assists and Hannah Edelman's 13 kills. Mallory Lewis added eight blocks and five kills, and Brantley Herrington chalked up six kills.

The Seahawks play at Hanahan on Tuesday.

Hilton Head Christian 3, Beaufort Academy 1: Sophomore middle blocker Amber Hubbard registered 12 kills to power Hilton Head Christian to victory in four games, 25-19, 25-10, 20-25, 25-20.

Hilton Head Christian (5-12) plays again at 5 p.m. today at St. Andrew's in Savannah.

Battery Creek: The Dolphins beat North Charleston 2-0 (25-10, 25-6) and Woodland 2-0 (25-21, 25-12) to improve to 13-6, 9-3 in Region 6-AA.

Teniellia Leak (three aces, a block and 12 kills), Aujena Mungin (10 kills) and Tina Kwok (16 aces and six kills) led the way for Battery Creek. Other contributors included Walicia Patterson (five aces and a kill), Sara Anderson (four aces and eight kills), Jayde Little (three aces and six kills), Rebekkah Scott (six aces) and Amy Cederholm (six kills).

The Dolphins host Wade Hampton Monday for senior night.

Porter-Gaud 3, Hilton Head Prep 0: The Dolphins fell 25-13, 25-18, 25-15 to fall back to .500 at 7-7.

Brooke Churchich led Prep with 22 asssists, while Halie Parker had eight kills, and Jill Brunori added nine kills and four blocks. The Dolphins play at Bible Baptist at 5 p.m. Tuesday.

JV: Bluffton Silver 3, Whale Branch 0 (25-12, 25-8, 25-4)

Middle school: St. Gregory 2, St. Francis 1 (13-25, 25-14, 15-11)
