Ward Edwards Engineering, a top engineering employer based in Beaufort County, recently made changes to its name, logo and coloring.
"We added 'engineering' to our name to emphasize that we are problem-solvers," said company engineer Heath Duncan. It also "integrated blue into our logo to signify the importance of water and the integration of all the material elements into the job of a civil engineer."
"If a material is found in nature, civil engineers probably deal with it as a resource in some way, and we at Ward Edwards Engineering seek to do so as stewards," added company project manager Jon Rembold.
