That comment followed an update from town staff that two applicants are awaiting final state approval to buy the homes, and a third person who participated in the initial lottery has dropped out. Sulka urged town staff to get the lottery for a new applicant done by the end of next week. Town staff also announced a new grant approved by Lowcountry Council of Governments for $142K in housing-repair funds.
