I want to thank Walgreens so much for designating Island House/Mental Health America as a recipient of its donation program and for encouraging Christine Makouchi in this endeavor. We depend on the generosity of our community to allow us to provide excellent service to our clients.

Island House is a rehabilitative psychosocial services day program for adults with severe and persistent mental illness. We serve clients from Beaufort and Jasper counties and depend on the generosity of our community.

The Walgreens donation will be used to maintain and enhance our kitchen and meal service and facilities. We depend on charitable grants and donations to keep our meal program going and enhance our clients' experience here.
