SCAD Savannah women leading golf tournament in Bluffton

Lander Lady Bearcat Invitational concludes today at Old South

With three of the top four scores in the opening round, SCAD Savannah took the early lead Saturday in the Lady Bearcat Invitational hosted by Lander University at Old South Golf Links in Bluffton.

Alexa Osbourn had a 3-under-par 69 to lead the way for the Bees. Host Lander was just three strokes behind SCAD with an 11-over 299.

USC Beaufort's women are in sixth place, trailing SCAD by 11 shots going into today's final round. Samantha O'Donnell is leading the way for the Sand Sharks, tied for 14th after a 3-over 75.
