Hilton Head Island's Benjamin Baird, 12, rides near the front of a group of bicyclists Saturday morning at the start of a 10-mile ride during the Pedal4Kids Community Ride, which began in the Hilton Head Island High School parking lot. The event featured bike routes of varying difficulty, from a family fun ride to a 40-mile trek. Proceeds benefited the Boys and Girls Club of Hilton Head Island.
